We would like to extend our sincere apologies to the tournament staff, umpires, parents, coaches, and most importantly, the children.
Following the incidents that occurred this past weekend, we have launched an investigation in collaboration with USA Softball, under the guidance of the USA Softball Commissioner and our District Representative. Actions have already been taken in accordance with their direction, and additional steps will follow as needed once the investigation is complete.
We want to clarify that the Hornets tournament team operates independently from our league. Although their coaches are involved in our recreational program, the Hornets manage their own operations, decisions, and tournament participation.
At this time, we are unable to respond to individual questions, as the investigation is still ongoing. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate this process with care and responsibility.
Our commitment remains strong in fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all players and families.

St. Helens Girls Softball is an organization that focuses on the personal growth and team development of softball players ages 3 to 15.
This year we have recommitted to our efforts of community development along with our restructuring in the team sports arena.
We are working on identifying community outreach opportunities, in depth, personal player development, mentorships and excellence in field maintenance.
We are committed to make sure opportunities are available to all who wish to participate regardless of experience or finances.

“There is nothing impossible to
him who will try.”
